Greenwich Madina Trust (“we”, “us”) runs Ghousia Masjid and its Educational Centre. We are a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1129277) and the controller of the personal information described here.

The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, a subject and your message. The form is run by Formspree, which passes your message to our email inbox and keeps a copy for us. We use what you send only to reply and to help with your request. Emails and calls to us are handled in the same way. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.
To arrange a Janazah, a Nikah, counselling or Madrassah enrolment, we need details about you and, sometimes, members of your family. We use them only to provide that service. Because we are a masjid, this information can show your religious belief, so we treat it with extra care: it stays within the Trust and is shared outside it only as described below or with your agreement.
Online donations are made on Hibabox’s secure website, not ours. Hibabox processes your payment and, if you choose it, your Gift Aid declaration, under its own privacy policy. We keep the donation and Gift Aid records we need, for as long as HMRC requires.
Like every website, ours receives your device’s IP address and basic browser details, because these are needed to send you the pages. Our website is hosted by GitHub Pages, which records this in its security logs. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also counts your visit (see Cookies).
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. We use these services to run the website and the masjid:
We also share information with funeral directors and similar organisations when you ask us to, and with the authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States; they protect your information with safeguards recognised in UK law, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contract clauses.
A bar at the foot of the page asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Nothing optional is set until you choose “Allow analytics”, and you can change your mind at any time with , also at the foot of every page.

Links to Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Our website is not designed to collect information from children. Information about children in our Madrassah comes from their parents or guardians, who can ask to see, correct or remove it at any time.
